DESCRIPTION
Dimethylacetoacetamide (DMAA) 80% is an 80% aqueous solution of N,N-Dimethylacetoacetamide, a clear, colorless to yellow liquid commonly used as a co-promoter in the polymerization of unsaturated polyester resins. These resins are primarily utilized in coatings and adhesive applications, providing low color generation during the process. DMAA 80% is also used in the creation of low-VOC unsaturated polyester systems for coatings, as well as in the production of insecticides. Additionally, it serves as an organic intermediate for the synthesis of thioamide compounds, which have diverse applications in pharmaceutical synthesis, chemical engineering, and material sciences.
