DESCRIPTION

Tributyl phosphate (TBP) are organophosphorus compounds used as solvents and plasticizers. TBP is employed as a solvent in the extraction of uranium and plutonium in nuclear fuel reprocessing. It is also used as a plasticizer in the production of plastics and resins, improving their flexibility and durability. TBP is used in the formulation of lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and in certain textile processing applications.
