Diethanolisopropanolamine (DEIPA) is a clear, colorless liquid used as a pH-adjusting agent, chelating agent, and surfactant. DIEPA is commonly used as a grinding aid in cement manufacturing, and admixture in cementitious applications. When added to concrete, it acts as a retarding agent and water reducer while contributing to early strength development, improving flowability, and reducing bleeding.
