DESCRIPTION

Lignosulfonates are water-soluble anionic polymers derived from lignin, a byproduct of the pulp and paper industry. They are used as dispersants, binders, and emulsifiers in various applications. In concrete admixtures, lignosulfonates act as water reducers, improving workability and strength. They are also used in animal feed as pellet binders, in agriculture as soil conditioners, and in the mining industry as dust suppressants. Additionally, lignosulfonates are employed in oil drilling fluids to stabilize the drilling mud and in industrial processes as dispersing agents for dyes and pigments.
