Triisopropanolamine (TIPA)

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

DESCRIPTION

Triisopropanolamine (TIPA) is an organic compound used as a surfactant, alkalizer, and neutralizing agent in the formulation of cleaning agents, personal care products, and emulsifiers. It is also used as a pH adjuster in the cosmetics and textile industries, and as a solubilizing agent for fragrances and essential oils. Triisopropanolamine (TIPA) is a chemical compound commonly used as an admixture in concrete and cement production. It is used to enhance the setting and hardening properties of concrete and to improve its workability and pumpability. TIPA acts as a retarder, which delays the initial setting time of concrete, allowing it to remain workable for a longer period. Additionally, TIPA can also improve the final strength and durability of the concrete.
