DESCRIPTION

Tartaric Acid is a white crystalline powder and naturally occurring organic acid derived as a by-product of the wine production. With excellent chelating properties, it has applications in various industries. With its more soluble and hygroscopic nature it is used as a retarder in cementitious applications in the construction industry. This can result in a stronger and more durable final product with better resistance to cracking and shrinkage. It is also used in oilfield drilling applications as an additive in fertilizers, foods, textiles, pharmaceuticals, superconductors, ceramics manufacturing, and other industrial processes.
