DESCRIPTION
N-Octyl Pyrrolidone (NOP) is a transparent to yellow liquid with an amine-like odor, soluble in organic solvents. This specialty pyrrolidone is known for its low-foam surfactant and solvent properties. It is commonly used as a co-solvent in crop protection formulations, enhancing wetting properties due to its surfactant nature. Additionally, NOP is utilized in offset printing solution formulations and as an effective wetting agent for silica and other fillers and pigments in rubber formulations, improving dispersion and stability of the materials.
