Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate is one of the most effective surfactants for cleaning, emulsifying, and foaming behavior. It is the most distinguished ether sulfate. It is obtained from natural fatty alcohols and strikes a nice balance between strength and mildness in consideration of skin compatibility while maintaining its efficiency for cleaning. Making it an ingrained ingredient in personal care products and serving the HI&I sector, optimal performance for different cleaning and personal care formulations.

SLES is produced by the ethoxylation of lauryl alcohol, sulfonation, and subsequent neutralization with sodium hydroxide. In contrast to its precursor, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, the processes in the production of SLES afford a decrease in irritancy and an increase in water solubility, making it more acceptable for more recent personal care and cleaning
