DESCRIPTION

Tartaric Acid is a white crystalline powder and naturally occurring organic acid derived from wine production. DL tartaric acid has a granular quality, which makes it less soluble in water compared to the L (+) form. With excellent chelating properties, it has applications in various industries. It is used as a retarder and anti-caking agent in drymix cementitious applications in the construction industry. It is also used in drywall gypsum production to control the setting time and improve workability. It is also used in oilfield drilling applications as an additive in fertilizers, foods, textiles, pharmaceuticals, superconductors, ceramics manufacturing, and other industrial processes
