Eastman announces price increase on Solvents – Effective March 26, 2026

The Eastman solvents price increase will take effect on March 26, 2026, or as contracts allow. Eastman Chemical Company announced the adjustment for several solvent products distributed across the North America and Latin America regions. This update reflects changes in market conditions affecting solvent supply and production economics. As a result, companies that rely on these materials may see adjustments in procurement costs. The announced Eastman solvents price increase applies to both off-list and list pricing structures. These adjustments affect all bulk and packaged formats unless otherwise indicated. According to Eastman, the changes will apply only under the terms of sale and approved purchasing agreements. The price increase applies to the following solvent products: • Eastman™ DB Acetate Increase: $0.08/lb (off-list) | $0.08/lb (list) • Eastman™ DB Solvent (all grades, excluding Eastapure) Increase: $0.12/lb (off-list) | $0.12/lb (list) • Eastman™ DTB Solvent Increase: $0.12/lb (off-list) | $0.12/lb (list) • Eastman™ EB Acetate Increase: $0.08/lb (off-list) | $0.08/lb (list) • Eastman™ EB Solvent (all grades, excluding Eastapure) Increase: $0.12/lb (off-list) | $0.12/lb (list) • Eastman™ EP Solvent (all grades) Increase: $0.05/lb (off-list) | $0.05/lb (list) • Eastman™ Glycol Ether High Boilers Increase: $0.12/lb (off-list) | $0.12/lb (list) These adjustments apply across NAR and LAR regions and may also be reflected in per-kilogram pricing structures, depending on contractual terms and regional agreements.
