Sasol has just released another price increase announcement, their second for February. Effective February 1, 2017, Sasol MIBK, EB, Butanol, and N-Propanol, among others, will see significant price increases. These increases are as follows, and will apply to the follow products:
Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK), up by $0.05 per pound
Glycol Ether EB, up by $0.06 per pound
Butanol, up by $0.08 per pound
N-Propanol, up by $0.03 per pound
Ethyl Acetate (ETAC), up by $0.03 per pound
N-Propyl Acetate, up by $0.03 per pound
Also note that these products are subject to contractual volume limitations.
